Join us for four afternoons of hand-building at the YMCA pottery studio! Students will learn the basics of hand-building, including a crash course in pinch pots, coils, small sculpture, and slabs. Each student can create, fire, and take home up to eight small pieces. This course is open to motivated students ages 8 -12. Clay and tools are provided. Please bring a towel and apron or old shirt to wear. Let's play with clay! *This class will be hand-building ONLY and will not use a pottery wheel.Classes will be held 1pm to 4pm beginning August 4 and ending on August 7.
