
Lollipop Variant Batch (Trial 1) - Hand Dyed 100% Merino Wool Superwash Worsted Yarn
Merino wool ewe superwash worsted yarn hand dyed in a variant of the Yarntuary colorway “Lollipop”, named after the song by The Chordettes. This batch of hanks was made when experimenting to produce the final colorway. All four were made during experiment #1 so they are all of the same lot, which is unusual because normally all variants are one-offs! Like the other variants in the shop, these are not likely to be produced again. These variants are really pretty, having some deep colors and even jewel tones! They look more exotic and less traditional than the final colorway. The colorway Lollipop was inspired by rainbow-colored twisty lollipops and released during the month of June in support of the LGBTQIA community. Each color was applied by hand! It is a 100% Merino ewe wool superwash worsted weight yarn containing 95 yd and weighing 100g. The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
