Merino wool superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Home for the Holidays”, inspired by pumpkin pie and named after the song ”(There’s no place like) Home for the Holidays”. It is a fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% merino wool (399 yd, 100 g, weight 1). The wool comes from Italy and is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing. Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
