Fair Isle does exactly what it says on the label, it will intermittently stripe and create it's own fair isle imitation. Made from 75% Superwash Australian Wool (I always thought Australia was too hot for wool) it's machine washable making it suitable for gifts for babies and children. The added Nylon makes it super sturdy for socks- plus its worsted weight so your socks will be thick and knit up quickly. I'm thinking a pair of boot socks for the winter....
