Each is made in the USA and provide an easy way to protect your kayak from damage. The guard is made of durable rubber that is designed to stay on through the toughest of conditions, keeping your kayak protected and ready for any adventure. The preferred choice for a kayak keel guard and/or skid plate. These are the guards we use in our Southport kayak shop and on our own personal kayaks. NOTE: These keel guards have an adhesive backing which is not intended for use below the waterline. You will need to add a marine-grade adhesive that is designed for underwater use.
