They have a rounded head like pilot whales. The day I was out on the water and saw this group of Risso's dolphins, they were pretty active. They were leaping out of the water and chasing each other. I found out later they were breeding. It was quite a sight to see. They are known for scar patterns on their bodies and fins which can come from the squid they eat. Notice the dolphin on the far right, you can see his full tail fluke.
