Phantom Hand-Enameled Brass Fountain Pen (Fine Nib) - Stardust Blue

One could say that that Earth and every living thing is made of star matter. This train of thought could refer to this pen as well. Produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces with each pen individually numbered, the Phantom Stardust series was inspired by images of star dust captured by a telescope. These pens are made of solid brass and are painted in multiple layers of dark and light blue colors using a handheld spray gun in order to create a unique color overlap which resembles images of star dust. Then, the surface of each pen is thermo-baked, which turns the paint into beautiful baked enamel. Finally, it is topped with multiple layers of clear coating for added protection and to provide a silky smooth finish. There are no two pens alike, because the spraying of the paint on each pen is a manual process. Due to this, each pen has a slightly different color overlap pattern.
