DESCRIPTION Our Lowest Cost Ethernet Extender, Long Reach Ethernet Coax/UTP Extender and Media Converter Kit (NL-230FKIT) is a versatile solution for extending Ethernet connections over coaxial cable or UTP network cable beyond Ethernet's natural distance limitation of 328 feet (100m). The NL-230FKIT allows the user to extend Ethernet over coaxial cable up to 1,640 feet (500m), with speeds of 100Mbps symmetrical up to 984 feet (300m). Additionally, the NL-230FKIT provides 100Mbps symmetrical up to 1,640 feet (500m) over UTP network cable (Cat5 and above) with long reach capability up to 2,642 feet (800m) at 10Mbps. For added flexibility, the NL-230F Ethernet Extender Kit can be used as a media converter for fiber to copper conversions and it supports 9K bytes jumbo frame pass-through, which is perfect to utilize for a multitude of applications including AI, IoT, VOIP, and video streaming.
