愛 (love) Neon Sign

This is a Love (Ai!) neon sign. this is the word: love (ai) in traditional Chinese. This word first appeared in the Warring States Period (770 BC–221 BC), as many Chinese words came from drawings, the word love was first a simple drawing of a person speaking with his/her hand on his/her heart, in the means of one telling others their admiration, that was the meaning of love. After the first emperor of qin (259-210 b.c.), he added legs to the “person”, which meant that love is shown from actions, not words.
