Zebra Turbo Snail

Zebra Turbo Snails are known for their impressive cleaningabilities in reef tanks. These herbivorous snails work diligently at removing algaefrom both aquarium glass and rock aquascape. Zebra Turbo Snailshave a tendency to be a bit of a bulldozer, sometimes knocking over lighter rocks orcoral frags as they move. In your *saltwater aquarium, its important to provide Turbo Snails with ample spacefor grazing and hiding. This species of snail is primarily nocturnal and will remain hidden under the rocks during the daytime, and emerge immediately when the lights go down to begin their quest for algae. These peaceful snails should be kept with non-aggressive tankmates to avoid predation. Note: Turbo snails are unable to self-right if they flip over.Without assistance to flip back over, their survival is at risk, and they may become easytargets for predators like peppermint shrimp, hermit crabs and wrasses.
