RUMBLE - SENTRY TABLE RM102 SENTRY ENTRYWAY TABLE See an old growth Tree Slice from a new perspective. The cottonwood tree from which this was made began to list after heavy rains 10 years ago. The homeowner chose to remove it rather than worry about being squashed in the night. Our WoodSwan team was contacted when a passerby saw that the tree sections had been pushed into a pile to be burned. We pulled the tree slices from the pile and moved them to our staging area. The wood has been air dried, kiln dried, smoothed and shaped to retain the texture and character of the tree. A linen glaze, oil and hard wax sealed the deal.
