Pleated Sweatpant Trouser This sweatpant was designed through the lens of menswear with contemporary tailoring. It's crafted from a midweight 3-end fleece fabric that's plush, soft and cozy. It features a mid-rise, wide leg fit with 2 slanted pleats at the front and a raw hem at the leg opening. The pleats are sewn down and pressed to maintain their shape. The sweatpants mirror the aesthetic of trousers with a j-stitch sewing detail, 2 front pockets, and 2 expandable bellow pockets at the back. In many of my designs, I intentionally reference raw denim. Raw denim was my gateway into fashion and is what I first took interest in. Due to the garment dye, these trousers have highs and lows where the elastic meets the fleece. This is a similar characteristic you'll see on a pair of well worn denim jeans.
