Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Meursault 1er Cru Santenots 2022

(90-92) RP Wine Advocate (Kelley) The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Santenots reveals a gently reductive bouquet of pear, white flowers, toasted nuts and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless palate that's impressively bright and mineral for such a sunny terroir in so warm a vintage. Vinous: The 2022 Meursault Santenots 1er Cru has developed nicely since I tasted it in barrel. It has dispensed with the reduction, light quince and pressed white flower scents, just a touch of chai. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity; thankfully, there is just a little more nerve on the finish. I would have liked a bit more length, but that is simply because of the challenging growing season.
