La Spinona 2015 Barberesco, Bricco Faset, DOCG

Nebbiolo from Barberesco.  Winemaker Notes Ruby red color, tending to garnet red with ageing. Wild berries, spices (white pepper, licorice) and some aromatic herbs (pine, white mint and laurel) on the nose. Velvety, balanced and elegant on the palate. Drink with main courses of meat and cured cheese. Critical Acclaim JS92 James Suckling A firm, silky red with solid tannins and attractive fruit. Medium body and a flavorful finish. Lots of spice, berry and light meat undertones. Very pretty now.
