Wine Enthusiast & Wine Advocate 90 points - There is good ripeness in the 2016 Medalla Cabernet Sauvignon, but it still managed to keep some of the varietal characters and maintain good freshness despite the challenging year in the zone. The wine has some dusty, albeit fine-grained tannins and a dry finish. 60,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2019..October/2019 The 2016 Trapiche Medalla Cabernet Sauvignon displays notes of plum jam, green pepper, raisins, tobacco, and a delicate touch of oak.
