The Hewitson LuLu Sauvignon Blanc vineyard is superbly situated on one of the highest and coolest slopes in the Adelaide Hills. Proudly single vineyard, LuLu articulates the perfect expression of this variety in what is now generally regarded as the premier Sauvignon Blanc region. Eyes Bright green with pale straw. Nose Aromatic herbaceous notes balanced seamlessly with hints of cut capsicum, Finnish blackcurrant leaf and freshly squeezed lemon. Mouth The palate expresses intense fresh grass and tropical fruit characters, leading into a crisp but lingering finish. The wine shows a precise balance of structural and natural acidity with vibrant varietal flavours, a true expression of the season and vineyard.
