PASTURED POULTRY: LARGE WHOLE CHICKEN

THIS MEAT WILL ARRIVE FROZEN.  IF YOU WON'T BE HOME, PLEASE LEAVE OUT A COOLER WITH ICE PACKS! One LARGE whole, frozen, pastured chicken from our own farm!  These birds have been raised on non-GMO feed, scraps from our kitchen, and whatever grass and bugs they forage for on their own.  We also do the processing here, ourselves, in accordance with USDA regulations under Exemption P.L. 90-492.  Choose the weight you want from the drop down menu.   ABOUT OUR BIRDS:  Our meat birds have grown up healthy and happy, running around outside like chickens are supposed to do!  These are not full-blood "frankenchickens" (i.e. freakishly deformed commercial breed chickens), but neither are they full-blood Heritage breed chickens.  Instead, they're a cross between the two.  The result is a bird that has robust legs capable of supporting an active life, no cardiac issues or skeletal deformities, AND an ample, tender breast.  Thanks to their Heritage DNA, they also have a richer flavor than store bir
