Completely organic, completely machine-washable.Rugs ranging in size from small to 4 3/4' x 8' are made by hand, by a family of Amish weavers. Each strip for weaving is cut without the use of electric machines. The ends of the rugs are sewn with treadle sewing machines, and if weaving takes place after dark, it happens under oil lamp light.
