Aries ♈︎ botanical perfumea l c h e m y ♈︎For the cardinal house, a spring canoe ride among twilight cypresses, fireflies, and weeping willows. The silver cradle glides through an apricitic veil, meeting the equinoctial scent of green-yellow lavender (Lavandula viridis), young and tender. Lily pads are tiny and forming with an herbal clarity on the water's surface. Their buds the pond's nipples, still hard from winter's frigid wear. All in house extracts, many from my gardens.
