The Schlage ND Series Fail Safe Electrically Locked Rhodes Lever Lock is a specialty lock that when connected to an electrical system can be used to lock a door. This is typically used in combination with a card access system to allow entry. A fail safe lock is specifically kept locked using electric current so that if power fails, the door automatically unlocks, allowing exit through the door in an emergency.
