Here in the Northeast, we like to use the LX 6/3 as a jigging reel for tunas, and other hard-fighting species. It is essentially a wider version of the JX, allowing for additional line capacity. Due to the size and line capacity of these reels, they are also a good choice for deep water "inshore" groundfish applications like cod, as well as tilefish.
