Your axe has a story, why shouldn’t your wedge? These gorgeous monk-made wedges pair perfectly with our American Hickory handles to create a finished axe you’ll be excited to show off. These wedges are crafted by a team of monks right here in the USA. They’re working to build their monasteries beside the Gila National Forest in SW New Mexico. They make all of their furniture, doors, and windows, and use the remnants of these projects to make wedges for their own wildfire suppression tools. They began selling their decorative wedges in an effort to fundraise for their various building needs.
