TRS-80 Pocket Computer The Radio Shack TRS-80 Pocket Computer, rebranded as the PC-1 after the release of the PC-2, was released in July 1980. It was the first BASIC based computer that could fit in your pocket! It was actually the same as the Sharp PC-1211, but sold by Radio Shack in the United States. It cost $230 at release in 1980. It was rebranded as the PC-1 in 1982 when Radio Shack released the PC-2. Also seen here is the Radio Shack TRS-80 Printer/Cassette Interface. It was released in 1982 for a price of $149.00.
