'Delicious' Muscadine Grape Vine - Vitis rotundifolia

The Muscadine "Delicious" grape was introduced by Dennis Gray at the University of Florida in 2009. It was bred from a medium-sized bronze grape and a self-fertile black grape with large fruit. When they're ripe, "Delicious" grapes will be oval-shaped and turn purple/black.Like the Carlos grape, it is known for its wine-making excellence. The "Delicious" can be harvested earlier than other varieties, produces plentiful yields, is disease resistant and cold hardy up to -5º F.• Average mature size: 8-12 feet high, 6-8 feet wide• Light: Full sun• Water: Average needs• Zones: 7-9
