Trio of Tree Ornaments with Grace Swanson

Date + Time: December 6th, 9am-5pmLocation: Welburn Gourd FarmLevel: All Levels Description: One Ornament will be wrapped with gorgeous, recycled sari silk yarn. Another will be burned and dyed in a tree lights motif. The third will be a hot air balloon with a basket. Students will learn to make the copper wire hanger for each gourd. Welburn Gourd Farm has gourds pre-cut and available for purchase at the farm, however additional preparation is not provided. Materials Provided: Ornament Gourds Sari Silk Yarn Ink Dyes Patterns Little Woven Basket Copper Wire Glue Beat for Top of Each Drill with 1/16th bit Wood Carver Tools to Bring: Students must bring a wood burner with spear tip (available for rent or purchase in the Welburn Store).
