These wonderfully sculpted birds are made in the town of Caldas de Rainha in central Portugal by the design studio Laboratório d’Estórias (Laboratory of Stories). Each piece is composed by a set of 2 Canaries an a branch and is created around a folk tale or myth. This piece tells the story of the formation of the Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands, based on the famous legend of the lost continent – Atlantis. These decorative birds’ sculptures are the ideal decorative object for home or office and will assimilate well into any style.
