Super Tweed is one of Fonty’s signature yarns. Made from 95% fine wool and 5% Mohair, Super Tweed is a woolen spun yarn with an extraordinary feel. Among tweeds, Super Tweed is the only one to be made of 100% natural fibers. Its buttons (or nubs) are actually made from dyed wool unlike other tweed yarns. Super Tweed is wonderful in so many different types of projects including sweaters, scarves, mittens, headbands and hats. Weight: Aran Meterage: 120 yards (110 meters) per 50 gram ball. Gauge: 17 sts = 4 inches. Needle size: US 7 - 8 or 4.5 - 5mm. Fibers: 95% Wool - Fine Wool and 5% Mohair.
