True to its name, Cumulus, a 94% Israeli Mako Cotton and 6% nylon blend, has a velvety soft and fluffy texture (what you might expect from touching a cloud.) The label says to hand wash and dry flat, which is what I would do, but a lot of knitters have found that the yarn does well with machine washing and even being put in the dryer on delicate in a washbag.
