This dryer sparkling sake has a unique nose filled with grape, tangy citrus, plum and yogurt aromas. Tight, crisp and dry this is a “Brut” lovers bubbly brew. There are an array of sharp fruit tones like unripe strawberry, persimmon, and Asian apple pear. A gentle astringency is present and the finish is quick and compact. This sparkling sake has an elevated alcohol content of roughly 16% and this adds to the dryness level. More fruit presents itself closer to room temperature.
