Bunny on Sparkling Hydrangea Leaf Shaped Dish, Ceramic with Gold Accents

Rabbits symbolize kindness and magic, often appearing in myths and fairytales as adorable messengers and guides. This bunny jewelry dish is one of a kind art piece -  handcrafted, glazed and fired in my studio. A tiny bunny sculpture sits on a Hydrangea leaf sparking with gold, creating a peaceful little spot for your treasures, trinkets, and incense cones. This leaf-shaped jewelry dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2100 degrees Fahrenheit. The ceramic dish is imprinted with an actual Hydrangea leaf and the bunny is sculpted by hand. The piece is then handpainted with stains and underglazes to accent the beautiful textures. The dish is then glazed and fired in the kiln. Real 22kt gold is applied and the dish is then fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. The glazed finish is a glossy warm white, with beautiful natural variations found in a high fired finish.  This jewelry and incense
