Coasters | Barberini Bee | Set of Four

Set of four reuseable, thick paper board coasters with my original illustration.  4x4" inches. Matte finish. 🪄 The inspiration behind this design was a trip to Rome some years ago. Throughout Saint Peter’s Basilica, you can find a crest of 3 bees ornamenting many surfaces. The crest belongs to the House of Barberini - a family of Italian nobility that rose to prominence in the 17th century Rome. They were patrons of arts and industry and became very influential throughout the city. Their family crest is a bee - a symbol of industriousness, teamwork, and success. You can find the Barberini bees everywhere throughout Rome. I also just love bumblebees and wanted to give these little pollinator powerhouses the elegant treatment they deserve! 🐝🐝🐝🐝 Please keep in mind: This is a paper product. They are thick and re-useable, but their quality will degrade over time. A hard, more durable version of this product is available upon request, but may take a few extra days processing time.
