Sold in packages of 25. The #4125 Saxophone Key Felt Assortment with Case includes 25 each ofRED, BLACK, GREEN, and WHITE felt discs in the following diameter sizes. Felt thicknessis 1/16" (1.59mm). 1/2"(12.7mm) 9/16"(14.3mm) 5/8"(15.9mm) 11/16"(17.5mm) All of our saxophone key felts are die cut from the finestgrade of felt available, woven from 100% wool. Unlike felt that is woven using ablend of wool and synthetics (such as rayon), felt made from 100% wool is moredense. Density is an important factor in a saxophone felt because of thenecessity for maintaining proper key adjustment. Less dense grades of feltare spongy and easily compress after a short time, which means keys can go outof adjustment soon after leaving the shop. Technicians will also find thatunlike synthetic blends that shred and tear, 100% wool felt is easier to cut andtrim.
