Gold Nugget 55 days, determinate — 'Gold Nugget' produces a large amount of small, one-inch in diameter, globular, cherry-type fruit that, as its name implies, are golden-yellow colored. The regular leaf plants are compact with a potential for producing a high percentage of seedless (parthenocarpic) fruit.Bred by Dr. James R. Baggett of Oregon State University and introduced in 1983. 'Gold Nugget', now incorrectly being called "Golden Nugget" by some vendors, is perfectly suited for the Maritime Northwest but performs well in most locations. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
