From the 1880's period of the Great Persian Carpet Revival, this urban, fine weave, central Iranian scatter employs Manchester-spun wool to create a velvety surface, while laid out in a classic medallion and corners protocol . Slate ground, tall central slightly lobed and pointed cream medallion, rust-pink corners. Slate border with octogrammes, rosette arrays and rosette accented trays. Slight wear, but good condition for the type. Cotton foundation.
