The best Sarouks come from the West Persian village of Mohajeran, and almost all are navy blue. The well-drawn, centralized "American Sarouk" pattern of imaginative fantasy undulating floral sprays has accents in teal, green, salmon-rust, straw and cream. The coral border shows rosettes and erect flowers within a scrolling tendril. Well-woven, cotton foundation, leathery handle. Good condition.
