LLC® Package contains: 1/4” Industrial Style to Female 1/4” SAE 45° Flare Schrader Valve to Female 1/4” SAE 45° Flare Fittings These fittings may be used to connect an air compressor and bike tire pump to a backflow preventer valve (a.k.a. pressure vacuum breaker) for winterization purpose. Packaging is reusable. A generalized procedure to winterize backflow preventer using compressed air and bicycle tire pump is provided on the packaging. Note: Most backflow preventers have either male 1/4” SAE 45° Flare or female NPT connections (see image), although some backflow preventers may have other sizes fittings. The fittings in this package will fit male 1/4” SAE 45° Flare connection only. The thread outer diameter must be about 0.43” (please see picture). They will not fit female NPT connection. Please check your backflow preventer before purchasing. For your health and safety, this brass fitting is made of lead-free brass which contains less than 0.25% lead.
