Fruit for this insanely special cuvée from Coche-Dury comes from two plots (Les Plures and Les Santenots du Milieu) in Volnay. Post-harvest, the juice is vinified and aged in barrel for 15-22 months, depending on the vintage. Layered notes of red cherries, button mushrooms, underbrush, and spice dominate this wine’s sophisticated and well-balanced palate. This bottle is a real treat.
