A Mixed Strand of Tabular and Other Venetian Millefiori African Trade Beads M00713B
A small strand of rare tabular and other millefiori beads from the African trade dating from the mid to late 1800s to early 1900s. There are 9 tabular beads, yellow with mostly green murrini inserts, over what is frequently referred to as "crumb" or "end of day" background. These are strung with small oval millefiori beads. The tabular beads are about 22x27mm, the smaller oval beads are about 14x9mm. Weights and sizes are approximate. These beads are in good to excellent antique condition; they have traveled far and wide, and some wear such as nicks, scratches, and chips is expected. Three of the tabular beads have minor chips. Please examine the photos for details. IMPORTANT NOTE. In the world of beads, and especially ancient and antique beads, errors in identification are common. We do our best to research and classify our beads accurately, however, mistakes are certainly possible.
