Strand of Antique Venetian African Trade King Beads Y23_0261_B

17 Venetian African Trade King Beads dating to the mid to late 1800s through the early 1900s. These bi-cone beads are said to be worn by the tribal royalty, hence the name. The beads are about 15x16mm, 2-3mm holes. Length of the strand approximately 10". Weights and sizes are approximate. The beads may have nicks, chips, and scratches as appropriate for the age.  Please examine the photos carefully. The wooden ruler on the scale photos is on the metric scale.
