Small Saucer Bi-cone Beads from Mali, Brass (12x9mm) CRBM_10379
These saucer-shaped brass beads come from West Africa, specifically from Mali. The beads are hollow and light-weight, and are about 11-13mm diameter x 8-9mm wide hole to hole, although beads being handmade are all slightly different in size. There are approximately 90-100 beads per strand. The stringing hole is about 2mm. The beads are handmade, and no two are exactly alike. The size varies plus-minus 2mm. They come in two colors - a brighter brass, and a darker, more patinated option. See the last photo for the difference in colors. You can choose the one you like at the checkout. These beads are old and some may show wear such as nicks, small holes, and other minor imperfections. Weights and sizes are approximate. IMPORTANT NOTE. In the world of beads, and especially ancient and antique beads, errors in identification are common. We do our best to research and classify our beads accurately, however, mistakes are certainly possible. If you are a bead expert and notice any errors
