Antique Venetian Wedding Cake African Trade Beads Multi-Color With Aventurine M00005_C

A  28" strand of 32 antique Venetian African trade lampworked "Wedding Cake" beads dating to the early 1900s.  This design style with floral or ornamental glass overlays is also referred to as the Fiorato.    This strand has beads of a range of colors, with aventurine,  There are several rare varieties including green, blue with yellow, dark cobalt blue with orange and aventurine decorations, and a variety of black beads with yellow, red, orange, and aventurine decoration. The tube beads are 17-20mm long,  and 8-10mm wide. Most of the beads are in good antique condition, a few are chipped, and some are covered with more heavy patina than others.
