A velocity stack is a trumpet-shaped device of differing length which is fitted to the air entry of an engine's intake system.  It is designed to allow smooth and even entry of air at high velocities into the intake pipe with flow steams adhering to the intake pipe wall.  Material Blox Composite Velocity Stack are made with injection molded PA66 glass filled nylon, which reduces the amount of heat soak absorbed by the velocity stack, which transfer to the air going into the engine.
