When build a B18A B18B VTEC or none VTEC engine, often times the performance mods will exceed the capabilities of the factory rod bolts. ARP realize that it is an issue, and made these upgrade rod bolts to solve the issue. These ARP LS B18A B18B Rod Bolts are made out of premium grade 8740 chromoly, these rod bolts have a strength rated far superior to OE and aircraft quality bolts. This material is heat treated to provide a tensile strength in the 200,000 psi range and is an excellent choice for building your high revving all motor, or forced Induction application.
