3" Mattress Cover Upgrade (w/out Foam) for Gen 3 JK , and JL Campers.

3" Mattress Upgrade for (Gen 3 JK,JL and Bronco Campers).   ******** These covers WILL NOT WORK with Gen 1 or 2 JK Campers ********  No Foam Included - Just the Mattress Covers. The standard/stock foam in current production is a medium density 2" foam, the spec is "2 lb 40 ILD - as the ILD gets higher the foam is firmer.    With the a 3" covers, you can replace the entire foam with new, or keep your 2" foam and add a 1" topper.   The size is about a single bed, and for ease of purchase you can find a range of toppers at WalMart or at a foam shop, and can decide what may work best. Some consider using a conforming (Memory)  foam but be aware that in cold weather it can "freeze" at low temps, so when you climb in it's going to be like a sheet of plywood until it warms up. If you go with a 3" foam sheet, you can go a little less firm (lower ILD) than stock as the depth will help keep hips from squishing down reaching the hard surface.
