Half Heart - Original Painting

Dimensions (l x w): 11 in x 14 in / 27.94 cm x 35.56 cm  Materials: Acrylic on stretched cotton canvas This exploration of red shades, and red-blue lowlights, was my outpouring of love from afar as my partner and I went long distance again because I had one more semester of college than he did. The peeking of white canvas and strokes of peachy, yellow-red are the sweet and soft yearnings, while the saturated reds and purples represent the deep aching in experiencing the distance once again.
