Sabbath Day Shaker Village, New Gloucester, Maine: Ribbon Bucket Basket, June 28, 9 -11:30am

Saturday, June 28, 20259am-11:30am Weave a Ribbon Bucket Basket in this half-day morning workshop at The Shaker Village with Peggy Pollard of Underwater Weaving Studio.  The Ribbon Bucket Basket is an oversized, cylinder basket-tote perfect for a bouquet, a bottle of wine, a baguette, or a Turkish towel. Made with natural, undyed reed from rattan. Finished product approximately 5″ L x 14″ H.  All materials will be provided, including pre-measured and cut materials, clothespins, and grosgrain ribbon.  All levels welcome.  All ages welcome.  You are encouraged to work at your own pace and can complete the basket during the workshop or take it home with full instructions to finish it later. Members of the Friends of the Shakers receive $5 off each workshop – join or renew today and claim a discounted ticket. This workshop is a fundraiser for the Shaker Herb House.
