Publishers original sewn stiff card wrappers with red and black printing to front. Each part has four leaves with a color illustration by Seaghan Mac Cathmhaoil and a musical score arranged by Charlotte Milligan Fox. Part l: "Mary of Carrick". Part ll: "Thinkin' Long". Part lll: "The Green Woods of Truagh". Part lV: "Niamh" Part V: "The Heathery Hill". Part Vl: "A Beannacht Leat". Measures approx. 6" x 6.75". Some browning, light wear to edges of covers. Fraying to ribbons at spine. "In many ways [Mac Cathmhaoil] and his older brother Seosamh, a noted poet and lyricist, were emblematic of an entire generation of artists and writers from Ireland who combined art and politics as part of a wider revolutionary movement" (An Sionnach Fionn).
