This book – 7th printing, 1997 – is a one-stop shop for Ellis Island. It includes the history of the Island, the ferry and food on the Island. This is followed by 180 pages of recipes, many with notes, divided by native land of the recipe. Then you have food memories plus tips on tracing family roots and even ideas on planning a visit to the Island. The plastic spiral binder has some issues, but the book is very usable. A Masterpiece!
