Under the Magnolias – a tasteful tour of Athens (Athens Academy Parent Service Organization, Athens, Georgia)

Athens Academy is a rather posh private school just south of Athens proper, in Oconee County. The recipes in this 250+ page community cookbook are from local restaurants, the Country Club and “ordinary people.” It would make a great addition to a collection of community cookbooks, southern, Georgia, Athens or just a fun read. The recipes are very approachable, the instructions are straightforward, and the ingredients are readily obtainable. I may just go fix the Lewis and Clark’s White Chili (page 78) for supper. This is a 1999 first edition hardback spiral in excellent condition.  (Previously Owned)
