the artist has begun a new series of abstracts based on organic shapes found in nature. this piece is inspired by lotus pods that might be found in a lush and humid environment. the shapes entwine to enhance juxtaposition and vibration of the various blues, purples and greens that fill the composition. graphite was used to add definition to the organic lotus pod shapes.
